Private audio compression, by design

  • Your clips stay on your device

There is no upload step. Each clip is read, re-encoded and saved without ever leaving your browser.

  • No queue, no waiting room

Encoding starts the moment you press the button, because nothing has to travel to a server first.

  • Free, with no account

No signup, no subscription and no watermark. Use it whenever you need a smaller clip.

  • Works on any modern browser

Nothing to install on Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari, on both desktop and mobile.

Basic, Balanced and Heavy Compression

Every level caps the frame size and target bitrate differently. Pick the trade-off that fits how you will share the clip.

  1. 01

    Basic Compression

Longest edge up to about 1280px, higher bitrate.

The gentler option. Keeps more detail, so savings are usually smaller.

  2. 02

    Balanced Compression

Longest edge up to about 960px, moderate bitrate.

The default. Usually the largest saving you can take without the clip looking muddy on typical screens.

  3. 03

    Heavy Compression

Longest edge up to about 640px, low bitrate.

The smallest practical file, with visible softness. Best for quick sharing and tight size limits.

How it works

  1. 1

    Choose audio

Drag a clip onto the panel or pick one from your device. It is read locally, not uploaded.

  2. 2

    Pick a level

Basic, Balanced or Heavy. Balanced is selected by default and suits most clips.

  3. 3

    Download the result

You see the real before and after sizes, then save the compressed file straight to your device.

Frequently asked questions

No. Lottinier Audio has no backend for audio processing. Your file is read by your browser, re-encoded by code running on your device, and the result is written straight back to your downloads folder.

  • Is Lottinier Audio free?+

Yes. There is no account, no subscription and no watermark.

  • Which formats are supported?+

MP3, WAV, OGG, WebM, M4A and AAC are accepted as input. Suggested outputs are MP3 or WAV.

  • Are my files stored anywhere?+

No. Nothing is written to a server, a database or cloud storage. When you close or reload the tab, every trace of the audio is gone.
